A perfect cheap stay on the KSRTC Sleeper buses, The KSRTC AC Sleeper buses are parked at the Munnar Bus stand and they are old buses which have been converted to attract tourists. There are in total 16 berths in each bus and around 5-6 buses are parked at the bus stand. The Munnar bus stand is around 2-3 kms away from Munnar City. Only berth is available for Rs. 100, blankel, bedsheel and pillow charged separately. You can also book the entire bus for Rs. 1,600 as a group or large family. No online booking available as of yet. The stay timing starts from 5 pm to 10 am. There is water drinking facility inside the bus, common charging point, fan. Toilet & bath facility available at the bus stand. Im not sure if they have hot water facility for bath there yet but you can call and check with the staff. The bus is sanitized and cleaned after 10 am once everyone has checked out.
