Marimuthu picked us up at the hotel and then brought us to the plantation for the most amazing hike. We had the plantation for ourselves! Marimuthu is particularly knowledgable and keen to pass on his knowledge. He was kind enough to bring us a little snack and homemade tea for our little break with a view over the plantation. We would highly recommend this tour. The factory tour is really informative and the tasting is great! Ashok, our guide, is an amazing teacher and have a great load of advices! – Nicolò Accardo

We did the half day tour with Raj. A wonderful guide, who knows not only the best spots for photographs, he takes them too. Just let him guide you. For us, half a day was enough - we are experienced walkers but it still was quite a walk. . Maybe it was the timedifference with Holland, or the heat. Anyway, a wonderfull half day. – Hans Nijenhuis

The tour was really nice with beautiful scenery. Mr mutter explained very well the facts about the tea farms and other plants growing there. He also told us some funfacts and insights from the tea farming work. 100% recommended! – Chris

bad experience from KSRTC office. we reach at 8.30 after call confirmation , they are not ready to go for tour bcs only 19 ppl booked now. then they are give jeep on same price but we talk to jeep they need 3000/- to 3500/- . we lose the time and price ...... (when the tour is starting time it is a good one but now they are pushing to privet jeep) – manoj

We had an amazing hike with our guide Vijay. He was very knowledgeable, patient and he has amazing photography skills too. He made some really nice pictures of our hike. The trek itself is definitely worth doing. The view on top is spectacular and the trek itself is a nice work-out. – Thomas D

Mithun and his brother Edwin Were our drivers/ tour guides for multiple day trips during iur Kerala toursim. Mithun is a great guy and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing yet very informative trip. He was our guide for trip to Munnar from Kochi. For next day trip to Allepey he was unavailable but willingly helped us out by sendign his brother at our rescue. Edwin was eaually talented and showed us all places during our trip to Allepey from Kochi and then from Allepey to Trivandram. I highly recommend Mithun if you want the best experience during your time in Kerala – Shailee Rasania

Amazing walk from tea plantations to mountain top We had a great time walking through the tea plantations and trying to spot elephants (no luck). Sanish knows the place very well, is very friendly and speaks English very well too. He gave great indications about plants, animals, life in Munnar. We reached a mountain top with awesome views. Excellent tour and really helpful company We did a half day trek through the tea plantations and forests. The route was great - incredible views and a mix of different terrains (forest, grassland and plantations) which kept it interesting. Our guide Vijay was awesome and pointed out all of the wild growing fruits and spices. The company manager was really helpful too, organising a taxi for us to Allepey and finding another person going that way, to help us keep the costs low. Would definitely recommend, although it’s worth noting that it’s quite a climb for people who aren’t so steady on their feet. – Neil A

The trek with my trekking guide Mr. Vijayan was a great experience! We started climbing uphill through a tough terrain with a beautiful view. The trek has its challenges with thick foliage, small rough paths, leeches and a steep elevation but that also makes it exciting for trekkers looking for an adventure! Mr Vijayan is well prepared with salt to combat leeches and is seasoned with 19 years of experience of guiding trekkers. He is quite knowledgeable and keeps giving you bits of infory along the way. After half the trek, the major elevation ends and you start to descend, this has its own challenges as coming downhill is not necessarily an easy task. Finally you enter the tea gardens where the trek becomes more relaxed and the view beautiful. – Akshay S

We unfortunately only had one full day in beautiful Munnar but we are so glad we chose to go on the Tea Trail Tour. This tour combined a trek through the breathtaking landscape of the tea plantations and a visit to a local tea factory. We got to truly appreciate the landscape in which the tea grows then learnt how it was made and even had an education in tasting the different types! Both of our guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the driver was also very nice. I would strongly recommend this tour if you want to immerse yourself in beautiful Munnar. – Ally Peach

We had a very nice time during our tour. The scenery was stunning and the tour of the factory was very interesting. So far, my time in India has been spent mostly in a car and it was nice to have a peaceful walk in the fresh air. Midhun is a fantastic driver guide, who took us from Cochin to Munnar, around Munnar region and further on in our trip from Marari Beach back to Cochin. Nice trekking with great guide; We went on a (5 hours) trekking through the tea plantations with Saneesh. He is an amazing guide and speaks English very well! He knows a lot about the flora and fauna in Munnar. After the trek he proposed to bring us to a spice garden and to drink a coffee at a nice view point. Very welcoming! – Marlou P

\"The family atmosphere, the very kind staff but ABOVE ALL the fantastic owner, Manoj Kummar, who also guided us for a whole day of hiking in the mountains with his comfortable Jeep !! A young businessman of 28 years, engaged with local associations for the defense of the forest, great connoisseur of the territory, nice, good English and a great desire to grow. It also manages a holiday home in the elephants\' place, where you can sleep for the same price. Do not bring books or leave those you have read to get others: many in English, some in Italian too (I left one ahahaha). Do not book tours or tours with others: he will organize them at great prices !!! And, rare in India, Manoj does not take the commission on the services he offers. He also got us a taxi at a great price for Kochi who, the next day, accompanied us around and then to the airport! Not to be missed: bath in the bend of the river / shower in the waterfall, the quarries of the Tiger, the factory of the 1857 (working with the same machinery !!!). » – roberta messina

Anakulam is an amphitheatre surrounded by Reserve forests. It has high uniqueness due to geographical, climatic and cultural richness. – Tony

Amenities, we simply cannot live without like water purifiers, 24-hours hot water, room heaters (but you should use the fire place instead), laundries and medical kit with attendant would make your life easier here. – Sujith
