Munnar is the paradise of Kerala is blessed with 3 rivers and beautiful geography to enhance it's enchantment over the visitors.A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails.

Temperatures as low as −4 °C (25 °F)have been recorded in the Sevenmallay region of Munnar. The mean maximum daily temperature is at its lowest during the monsoon months with the highest temperature being 19 C.
