This vantage point is four and half km away from Rajakkad in Idukki district. It commands majestic distant views of the Ponmudi  Reservoir, as well as the island in it, and its catchment areas, dense with forests. Apart from the view, you may also enjoy the caress of the pleasant breeze. There are a number of private hotels nearby with reasonable rate.  It’s a fabulous place for those who enjoy trekking. The roads leading to the hill station are pretty smooth.  The climate at the place was different and awesome!!!.. Lots of fresh air and beautiful view cherish all the time. Superb place with lot of clouds. A big walking place with kids area is available.  You can enjoy the beauty of Ponmudi in a good climate.  Restaurants are limited there. Good to carry food along. Perfect place for gathering with family and friends..  Ponmudi is blessed with scenic splendor and natural beauty, Ponmudi has a carpet of thick tropical forest that rolls down to the foot of the hill station.
