We drive about 63 kilometers towards Coimbatore direction (road) from Munnar info ( tourist information center), and visit attractions on the way.

 1.Eravikulam National Park

Eravikulam National park, the home of Nilagiri Tahr spread over 97 sq.km area around 9km away from Munnar town. Anamudi south india’s highest peaks, which is on the part of  the National park.
 2.Lakkam Waterfalls

Lakkam Waterfalls is situated near to Vaguvarai estate on the way to Marayoor. The Waterfall is famous for Trekkers who can explore the forest, rolling hills etc.

3.Marayoor Sandalwood Forest View

     Marayoor sandalwood reserve in Kerala, spread over 1,460.7 hectares, close to one-sixth the size of Kochi, is currently one of the very few forests with high-quality sandalwood in India.

4.Muniyara- Anakottapara Park Visit

      Anakottapara Park Visit is a rocky Mountain park which is on the way to Kanthalloor, Where we can see historical burial site with several rocky Dolmens or Muniyaras.It is belived to that have been the hiding place of entient tribe called Anchunadu. Some Scholars belived that it may be the burial sites in prehistoric time. This place gives a panoramic view of Mountains and the nearby village Marayoor.

5. Sugarcane Farming & Making Unit Visit

            Marayoor is known for its extensive sugarcane cultivation, the major crop of Marayoor & Kanthalloor . Marayoor Jaggery is word famous and Jaggery is the term of brown sugar bolls made from condensed sugar cane juice. Beside of Sugar cane farm we can see  the jaggery making units also. From here we can see how the jaggery is made in traditional way.

6. Thoovanam Waterfall Visit

      Thoovanam waterfalls is situated inside the chinnar wildlife sanctuary and is originated from river Pambar.The waterfalls was under Wildlife Department, it’s a best place to enjoy nature also we can swim in the waterfalls.

7. Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary

                    Chinnar Wild Life Sanctuary, the rain shadow region in Westernghat gets less than 2 months rainfall in a year. It is under consideration by the UNESCO Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site. Chinnar is spread over around 90.44 sq km and it around 58km away from Munnar town and 28km from Marayoor. It is Situated in Kerala- Thamilnadu boarder and share the border with Indhiraghandhi Wildlife Sanctuary & Kodaikkanal Wildlife Sanctuary. This Wildlife sanctuary is the home of varity types of Mammals and birds like, Spotted deer, Indian Elephants, Tiger, Crocodile, Gaur, Etc. Great grizzled squirrel Numbering less than 200 in the planet can be seen here.
