We drive approximately 63 kilometers towards Coimbatore from Munnar Info (Tourist Information Center), visiting attractions along the way.

    Home to the Nilgiri Tahr, this park spans 97 sq. km and is located about 9 km from Munnar Town. It is also home to Anamudi, South India’s highest peak.

    This rocky mountain park features historical burial sites with dolmens (Muniyaras) believed to belong to the ancient Anchunadu tribe. It offers a panoramic view of the Marayoor village.
  • 5. Sugarcane Farming & Jaggery-Making Unit
    Marayoor is known for its extensive sugarcane cultivation and traditional jaggery-making units. Visitors can witness the process of making jaggery.
  • 6. Thoovanam Waterfalls
    Situated within Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, this waterfall originates from the Pambar River. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty and swimming.
  • 7. Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
    Located in the rain-shadow region of the Western Ghats, this sanctuary spans 90.44 sq. km. It is a proposed UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to diverse fauna, including spotted deer, Indian elephants, tigers, and the rare grizzled giant squirrel.
