  • The trek will start at Kainagiri / Viripara waterfalls, we will start through the wild forest for about 90 to 120 minutes. After reaching the top of the Kannadipara hill, this is an interpretation trekking program through beautiful forests with wide-ranging rocks. Kannadipara offers a breathtaking view of Munnar and surrounding areas. The vegetation here is semi-evergreen and grassland. Rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around. On a clear sky day, we could see the Anamudi “highest peak in S. India” and the water reservoir of Idukki Dam which is listed as the highest arch dam in Asia and the third tallest dam in India. We will have refreshment with some fruits and snacks. We will have another 90 minutes to 100 minutes walk through the forest & tea plantations to finish the trek. The highest point of this trek will be about 1500 meters MSL (approx). We walk about 8 to 12 km in total.
  • Then proceeding to Viripara waterfalls for swimming / bathing. Viripara waterfall is situated on Nallathanny river, on the way to Mankulam. (It is under Kerala forest department). Then visit Tiger caves & spices garden on the way back (spices garden entry is excluded INR.100 per person).
