FULL DAY MOUNTAIN HIKING THROUGH TEA PLANTATION

    The full day trek is a Guided tour towards the Lekshmi hills and pothamedu mountains in Munnar. In this hiking we want to walk around 14 to 18km total (6hrs). The land type in Lekshmi hills is lush green & fertilized land used to grow coffee, cardamom and cinchona. Now the land is replaced by Tea plantations.

   It’s a day trek that starts at the height of 1420 meters above MSL and the highest point of the trek is about 2000 meters above MSL. On the way we can experience the beautiful scenery that includes tea plantation and cardamom plantation in the shola forest in the one side and other side is filled with rocky mountains, where there is a high chance to spot some of our endemic birds. After some refreshment we will be having the Packed lunch. We will continue to the mountain and on the way back we can see shola forest which contains a wide variety of species like wild squirrel and Gaur, spices like coffee, cardamom And waterfalls etc. The tour will be finished at around 3.00 to 4.00 pm. and will be back to the starting point.
